How to prepare for your first visit?

To ensure a comfortable experience for you and your pet, all appointments at our clinic are scheduled in advance. If this is your first visit, please arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can complete the registration and set up your pet’s medical record. Don’t forget to bring any documents related to your pet’s medical history and their health booklet, if you have one.

We also recommend preparing all relevant information about your pet beforehand. This includes any symptoms you’re concerned about, details on their diet, and the frequency of their bowel movements and urination. It’s helpful to write these details down ensure you don’t forget anything during the visit due to stress.

For pets in pain or those with oncological issues, we prioritize urgent care. If your pet falls into one of these categories, please bring their full medical history for oncological cases, or a detailed account of the event for pain-related issues.

If you have any further questions, we’re here to help you

Blood tests:

In most cases, a blood test is essential to make an accurate diagnosis. We perform this procedure on-site at the clinic, so please make sure your pet has fasted for at least 8 hours before the appointment.

How to prepare your pet for a procedure under general anesthesia?

At our clinic, all procedures are done under general anesthesia, with an anesthesiologist monitoring your pet closely. The anesthesiologist is available daily, and you can schedule a one-on-one consultation beforehand to get all your questions answered and any concerns addressed. Before the procedure, we require blood tests (both hematology and biochemistry) and an echocardiogram. However, there’s no need to worry — your veterinarian will walk you through everything during the pre-procedure consultation to make sure you’re fully informed and prepared.

How to prepare your pet for an ultrasound?

For an ultrasound, it’s important that your pet has an empty stomach, meaning they should not eat for at least 8 hours before the procedure. The veterinarian who schedules the ultrasound will provide specific instructions tailored to your pet’s needs.

How often should your pet have check-ups?

If your pet is in good health, check-up visits should be scheduled once a year. During these annual visits, we’ll conduct blood and urine tests, perform an ultrasound, and set up a schedule for vaccinations, deworming, and parasite prevention (like ticks and fleas). If the veterinarian has any concerns about your pet’s health, they’ll create a personalized treatment plan.
